Ard-Fheis 2009

On Saturday last [May 16], éirígí adopted a series of motions at its annual Ard-Fheis.

Topics voted upon ranged from international solidarity to prisoners’ rights and from the Lisbon Treaty to the Irish language.

In line with éirígí’s commitment to internal democracy all of the motions had been discussed with the local Ciorcal in advance of An Ard-Fheis and where possible had been amended to reflect feedback from these local meetings.

As with all other matters relating to major policy and strategy decisions every member in attendance at An Ard-Fheis was entitled to vote on the motions on a ‘one member, one vote’ basis. Click below for the full text of all motions adopted during the motions sections of An Ard-Fheis.
