Anglo Irish Protest & Garda Attack – Photo Essay

Around 6.30am

Many people on their way to work stopped by to express their support

There was a large Garda presence from the start

Supporters soon began arriving

A Mhuintir na hEorpa, Éirígí

Gardaí appear on the canopy

The protest remained calm and peaceful

Standoff behind the building when protestors tried to determine the well-being of the arrestees

Gardaí soon pounced on the protestors

Extendable batons were soon in use

Protestors were pushed, punched, dragged and kicked
