éirígí Supports Palestinian Demonstration

Over a dozen éirígí activists joined in today's National mobilisation in protest at the continuing Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands. More than 500 people from across Ireland marched from outside of Dublin's Central Bank to the GPO on O'Connell street where the crowd was addressed by a number of speakers.

The event was organised by the Irish Palestine Solidarity Campaign to mark the fortieth anniversary of the Israeli invasion and occupation of East Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
