éirígí Ard Fheis 2007

eirigi Ard Fheis 2007

éirígí held its first annual Ard Fheis on Saturday 12th May 2007.

Over 70 delegates and guests from across Ireland were represented at the Ard Fheis, which was held in the Comfort Inn in Dublin.

The day long event provided an opportunity for members and supporters to discuss éirígí’s growth, achievements, plans for the coming year and its development in to a national organisation, 12 months on from its inauguration.

During the course of the Ard Fheis, the membership of éirígí voted to adopt a proposal for éirígí to become a political party. A formal constitution was also proposed and adopted for the new organisational structure.

This page is dedicated to coverage of the Ard Fheis and also éirígí’s first annual James Connolly commemoration. Transcripts of speeches, video clips and photo essays from both events can be accessed through the links on this page.

This page will be updated with material from both the Ard Fheis and commemoration over the coming days.
